Welcome to Mission Bike Lights. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Mission Bike Lights website ("Site") and your purchase of any products offered for sale through the Site ("Products"). By accessing the Site or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or purchase any Products.

2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age to make a purchase on this Site. By placing an order, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.
3. Products and Descriptions
We make every effort to display and describe our Products accurately on the Site, including LED patterns, specifications, and compatibility. However, we do not warrant that Product descriptions, images, pricing, or other content on the Site are error-free, complete, or current. If a Product you receive does not match its description, your sole remedy is set forth in our Return and Refund Policy below.
Mission Bike Lights are electronic devices designed for supplemental bicycle visibility. Product features — including mesh networking, LED patterns, motion detection, and app-based controls — may vary with firmware versions, device compatibility, and environmental conditions.
4. Orders and Pricing
4.1 Order Acceptance
Placing an order on the Site constitutes an offer to purchase. We reserve the right to accept or decline any order for any reason, including product availability, pricing errors, or suspected fraud. An order is not accepted until we send you an order confirmation email.
4.2 Pricing
All prices are listed in U.S. dollars and are subject to change without notice. Prices do not include applicable taxes or shipping charges, which will be calculated at checkout.
4.3 Payment
We accept payment through Stripe and any payment methods made available at checkout. You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate billing and payment information. By submitting your payment, you authorize us to charge the applicable amount to your selected payment method.
4.4 Errors
In the event of a pricing or product listing error, we reserve the right to cancel any orders placed at the incorrect price and will notify you promptly. We are not obligated to fulfill orders placed at an erroneous price.
5. Shipping and Delivery
5.1 Shipping
We currently ship within the United States. Shipping options, estimated delivery times, and costs will be presented at checkout. Delivery estimates are approximate and not guaranteed.
5.2 Risk of Loss
Title and risk of loss for Products pass to you upon delivery to the carrier. We are not responsible for delays, loss, or damage caused by the shipping carrier once the package has been tendered for shipment.
5.3 Tracking
When available, tracking information will be provided via email after your order ships.
6. Returns and Refunds
6.1 Return Policy
If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may request a return within 30 days of delivery. Products must be returned in their original condition and packaging. To initiate a return, contact us at NiceLights@MissionBikeLights.com.
6.2 Refunds
Refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 10 business days of our receipt and inspection of the returned Product. Shipping costs are non-refundable. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer unless the return is due to a defect or error on our part.
6.3 Defective Products
If you receive a Product that is defective or damaged during shipping, contact us within 14 days of delivery. We will arrange for a replacement or full refund, including shipping costs, at our discretion.
7. Warranty
7.1 Limited Warranty
Mission Bike Lights warrants that Products will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for a period of one year from the date of delivery ("Warranty Period").
7.2 Exclusions
This warranty does not cover:
- Damage resulting from misuse, abuse, neglect, accident, or unauthorized modification
- Normal wear and tear
- Damage caused by exposure to conditions exceeding the Product's stated specifications
- Damage resulting from improper installation
- Use of the Product in a manner inconsistent with provided instructions or documentation
7.3 Remedy
If a Product fails within the Warranty Period due to a covered defect, we will, at our sole discretion, repair or replace the Product or refund the purchase price. This is your sole and exclusive remedy under this warranty.
7.4 Disclaimer
EXCEPT FOR THE LIMITED WARRANTY SET FORTH ABOVE, PRODUCTS ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
8. Assumption of Risk and Limitation of Liability
8.1 Assumption of Risk
Mission Bike Lights are designed as supplemental visibility aids and are not a substitute for proper cycling safety equipment, practices, or compliance with local traffic laws. By purchasing and using our Products, you acknowledge and voluntarily assume all risks associated with their use, including but not limited to risks related to:
- Cycling and road conditions
- Visibility and weather conditions
- Electrical components and battery use
- Installation and mounting on your bicycle
- Interaction with other road users
You agree to inspect the Product regularly and discontinue use immediately if any defect, damage, or malfunction is observed.
8.2 Limitation of Liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, MISSION BIKE LIGHTS AND ITS OWNER(S), OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, AND AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO PERSONAL INJURY, PROPERTY DAMAGE, LOSS OF USE, LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS, OR LOSS OF GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH:
- The use or inability to use the Products
- Any defect, failure, or malfunction of the Products
- Reliance on any information provided on the Site
- Any interaction between the Products and third-party devices, apps, or services
8.3 Cap on Liability
IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE PRODUCTS EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SPECIFIC PRODUCT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.
8.4 Jurisdictional Limitations
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain warranties or liabilities. In such jurisdictions, our liability shall be limited to the greatest extent permitted by applicable law.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Mission Bike Lights, its owner(s), officers, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your use or misuse of the Products; (b) your violation of these Terms; or (c) your violation of any applicable law or regulation.
10. Intellectual Property
All content on the Site — including text, graphics, logos, images, firmware, software, and the design and arrangement thereof — is the property of Mission Bike Lights or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any Site content without our prior written consent.
The Mission Bike Lights companion iOS app and associated firmware are licensed, not sold. Your use of the app is subject to any additional terms presented within the app or on the Apple App Store.
11. Companion App and Firmware
11.1 App and Firmware
Mission Bike Lights Products are designed to work with our companion iOS app and firmware. Product functionality may depend on app compatibility, firmware version, and your device's operating system and hardware.
11.2 Updates
We may release firmware or app updates from time to time. Some updates may be required for continued functionality. We are not responsible for any loss of functionality resulting from your decision not to install available updates, or for any issues arising from the update process, including over-the-air (OTA) mesh updates.
11.3 No Guarantee of Continued Support
We reserve the right to discontinue app or firmware support at any time. We make no guarantee that the app or firmware will remain compatible with future operating system versions or hardware.
12. Privacy
Your use of the Site and purchase of Products are subject to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
13. Third-Party Services
Our Site may use third-party services, including Stripe for payment processing. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the acts or omissions of any third-party service providers.
14. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
14.1 Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
14.2 Dispute Resolution
Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Products shall first be addressed through good-faith negotiation. If the dispute cannot be resolved informally within 30 days, either party may pursue resolution through binding arbitration or in the courts of San Francisco, CA, at the election of the claiming party. You agree to submit to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.
14.3 Class Action Waiver
You agree that any dispute resolution proceedings will be conducted on an individual basis and not as part of any class, consolidated, or representative action.
15. Modifications to These Terms
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting to the Site with an updated "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the Site or purchase of Products after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
16. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
17. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any other legal notices or agreements published on the Site, constitute the entire agreement between you and Mission Bike Lights regarding your use of the Site and purchase of Products.

Safety Notice
